The Husband & Wife Duo That Every Event Needs: Sandra Joseph & Ron Bohmer

Gail Davis, 23 April 2024

Every organization needs to book Sandra Joseph and Ron Bohmer. It is that simple.

Whether you are a non-profit raising money for a great cause, an organization celebrating a milestone anniversary, or an association looking for an experience of a lifetime - Sandra and Ron will leave your audience entertained, uplifted, and inspired.

Sandra and Ron have been called “Broadway royalty” and “a real-life fairytale romance.” They met on the stage of the Kennedy Center Opera House just moments before stepping into their roles as the Phantom and Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and fell in love - both on and off the stage - in 1997. Nearly three decades later, their story has transcended Broadway stages and concert halls worldwide into a 20+ year marriage and professional partnership.

They are the real deal and redefine the meaning of customization. I recently booked them for an event with EO Dallas and by the time they presented, Sandra and Ron knew more about our organization than most members. They were 100% invested and created so many special moments. It was a WOW from beginning to end.

There is no question about the couple’s talent! I had two official pre-event calls with them but it was obvious they did so much more behind-the-scenes work to prepare for this presentation. In our first call, I mentioned that the event was for EO Dallas but we would be hosting the EO Oklahoma City chapter at the event as well. I also mentioned it was the anniversary of EO Dallas.

We managed to keep lots special touches under wraps which created a super memorable evening, including Sandra and Ron singing “Oklahoma” as a nod to our EO OKC chapter and an impressive slide show they put together commemorating EO Dallas’ 30th anniversary while Ron sang “The Impossible Dream” (the entrepreneur’s anthem).

The best way to describe Sandra and Ron’s presentation style is “edu-tainment.” Sandra tells the story of her many auditions for the role in The Phantom of the Opera, overcoming rejection, and unmasking what matters. Her story is paired with an incredible musical performance with Ron including images and songs from The Phantom of the Opera. It is truly like having an intimate evening with Broadway royalty.

After the presentation, they signed personalized copies of Sandra’s book for the attendees. Everyone was excited with cameras snapping constant photos. It was a magical evening I will not soon forget.

Pro Tip: If you are looking for a fun extra, there is a bottle of wine called “Phantom” and while there is no relation to Sandra and Ron or the Broadway franchise, it sure adds a nice touch.
