Gaming with a Bionic Hand: How I Adapted to the Evolution of Controllers

How do you play when the world is built for two hands? In this excerpt from my keynote at the Oculus Fusion 2024 conference in Las Vegas, I take 800 video game professionals from Meta Oculus Studios on a journey through the evolution of the game controller. As a congenital amputee born without my left hand, I spent my life "hacking" my way through gaming—adapting to every new button and joystick added to the industry standard.
