The National Association for Health Care Recruitment's (NAHCR) annual meeting just wrapped up and we had the most engaging, insightful, impactful opening keynote speaker, Rachel Druckenmiller! Rachel's presentation was timely, relevant and meaningful for NAHCRs attendees, all of whom are talent acquisition professionals in the health care industry. The last two and a half years have brought many challenges. Rachel recently presented a two-hour workshop at the ACN Leadership Academy in February and received rave reviews by the attendees. She easily connected with the audience because she is engaging, energetic and brought a great perspective. You could see that she did her research and really tailored her workshop. An attendee commented, 'RACHEL WAS AMAZING! It did not know what to expect, but she wasn't the typical speaker that gave regular advice. Rachel is relatable, personable and energetic. Our Trade Association hired Rachel to be our keynote speaker for our annual kickoff meeting in January 2023. This annual meeting was being totally reinvented by the Association and sought to find a speaker who could connect with the audience, all from various backgrounds within our industry. During the discovery meeting with Rachel, she made notes of our vision, purpose and goal and created a concept that not only included the very obstacles our industry faces but was able to incorporate members of our industry making the topic relatable to all attending. Her keynote eliminated the "rah! rah!" vibe often projected in kickoff meetings and she spoke with purpose and conviction. She paused for crowd participation and feedback throughout which kept the audience engaged for the entire presentation. To say that not a single person picked up their cell phones throughout is an understatement! Her command of the audience is world-class. Excellent work! Will definitely look to work with her again.
As a meeting planner, I have three criteria for what I consider an A+ keynote speaker: - Do they provide valuable insight and information that is new to my audience - Are they compelling on stage? Will they keep an audience's attention? - Will they work well with my planning team? Rachel hit all three of these out of the park! She engaged the audience with storytelling, humor, and her special brand of brilliance to put on a great 'show' from the stage. However, what really set Rachel's talk apart was how she invited the participants into their own moments of reflection. She guided several hundred people through her framework, all while maintaining a personal connection and sense of intimacy that brought out authenticity, and even moved some attendees to tears. Finally, Rachel and her assistant were an absolute dream to work with. They were thorough, thoughtful, and clear in all of the communications leading up to and through our event. I wish all speakers were this attentive! My staff was thrilled with their professionalism. I would hire Rachel one thousand times over, and highly recommend her to any organization!
My company hired Rachel as the keynote speaker for our annual user conference and she brought so much value to our attendees experience. Rachel did more pre-work than any keynote that we have hired in the past and really made sure she understood the topics and information we wanted to get across to our attendees. Rachel's presentation was so powerful that is had a positive impact on our attendees lives! We actually had reviews from our attendees giving examples of how they've put Rachel's teachings into practice in their day-to-day lives and the positive improvements that have come from it. Our biggest goal from keynote presentations is not only that attendees feel inspired but that they can walk away with actionable items that they can implement in their work or personal lives and she absolutely nailed it. One of the most impressive parts of Rachel's presentation was her ability to handle a hybrid crowd. We had 300 people in-person and close to 1,000 virtual attendees. She managed to create just as good of an experience for the virtual attendees as the in-person attendees which is incredibly difficult to pull off. Rachel did such a fabulous job with this that the event center A/V crew commented on how impressed they were with her inclusion of the virtual attendees (and they see a lot of keynote presentations!). I cannot recommend Rachel enough to elevate your event experience. She really sets the bar for keynote speakers. 5-stars!

Rachel was selected as the opening keynote speaker at our annual Vermont HR Conference. I could not have wished for a better opening keynote. Rachel brought enormous positive energy to the audience that seemed to carry them through the rest of the two-day conference. When planning a conference, one of the most (if not the most) important decision that a conference planner makes is the opening keynote speaker. This sets the tone for the entire event. I had the privilege and responsibility of selecting the keynotes for our first in-person Vermont State Human Resources conference in three years. I came across Rachel Druckenmiller in my LinkedIn feed discussing becoming ‘unmuted', an expression I hadn't heard of. I was immediately taken with Rachel's passion and experience in becoming unmuted and finding our own unique voice. And speaking of voice, I also heard Rachel sing, and she can really sing! Rachel was our opening keynote speaker and she was absolutely everything we wanted and more. I have never had a keynote speaker so engaged with an audience – people were with her one hundred percent. It was amazing – and it got better!! Rachel also spent the entire time with us and all our attendees. She joined us the night before the conference and stayed to the very end, making herself available to everyone.
