Giants chaplain still preaching 2-word mantra that led to title
Gonzalez was a guest speaker before the 2011 Christmas Eve game against the Jets. He was invited by then-team chaplain George McGovern to speak during the weekly chapel meeting. A high school teacher in Union City, N.J., and a former basketball player at Montclair State, Gonzalez told those in attendance they needed to be “All in” and fully committed to their families, their teammates and their friends.
