Rachel B. Simon has spent her career championing the powerful idea that strong, authentic relationships are the foundation of workplace success. During her 30+ year career as an executive at AT&T, one of the most recognized brands, she saw firsthand how authentic relationships can transform teams, elevate careers, and shape company culture. Today, Rachel shares those lessons as a keynote speaker, writer, and certified executive coach. She’s the bestselling author of Relationships at Work: How to Authentically Network within Your Company, and she centers her message not just on the what and how of workplace success, but most importantly, the who to inspire more joy, purpose, and human connection at work.
She started her journey as a college graduate, stepping into a world of fast-moving business, new technologies, and ever-evolving expectations. Over the years, she rose to lead teams of thousands, manage billions in revenue and expenses, and guide the company through complex challenges in areas including Privacy, Finance, and Customer Care. No matter the role, one thing always stood out: her belief that authentic relationships are the key to both performance and personal fulfillment.
Rachel is known for her heartfelt and tactical keynotes and workshops that bring to life the power of connection and networking inside organizations. Whether she’s talking with mid-level professionals or senior leaders, her message is the same that the relationships we build matter.
Throughout her career, Rachel has helped thousands of professionals reframe how they think about success, balance, and impact. She co-founded the AT&T Women of Finance to offer mentoring, education, and community, and launched DINE, an award-winning initiative that fosters open dialogue.
Rachel serves on the steering committee for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Women of Tocqueville. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a Fellow of Information Privacy through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Rachel lives in Dallas with her husband, Jason, and is the proud mom of Abigail and Ethan.
