Lisa M. Johnson, SHRM-SCP, MBA, is a global human resources professional who has an enthusiasm for building leadership skills to reduce your workforce legal risks. Her training style and insights have been successfully applied in organizations and settings of varying sizes and cultures. She is skilled in keynote/breakout speaking, and leadership coaching. As founder and owner of HR Know-How LLC consultancy, she enjoys helping busy organizations with HR-related needs and believes that bringing humanity and consistency to daily interactions is key to personal growth and organizational productivity. She is a contributing author to “Imagination@Work”, a collection of insights from industry leaders about the shifting boundaries in the modern workplace. Her TEDx Talk on ‘Moving Beyond Implicit Bias’ has received positive reviews.
Lisa earned a Bachelor’s in personnel/industrial relations from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Lewis University Where she is an adjunct faculty member. In addition to holding certifications for coaching and training, she is a member of the National Speakers Association – KY chapter, and 2021 Past President of the Society for Human Resource Management – Louisville chapter.
Lisa resides in Bardstown, Kentucky, where she is a proud member of the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce and HR Director for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Board of Town & Country Bank and Trust Company, the Bardstown Foundation for Excellence In Public Education, and the board of Catholic Charities of Louisville.
