Mr. Jose Hernandez did an amazing presentation. Our auditorium was filled to capacity. Over 500 attended his presentation. He was patient and willing to wait a little for a bus to arrive. The audience was engaged, cried, and most of all impacted by his words of encouragement.
Dr. Hernandez was compelling, inspiring and moving. He spoke to the heart of teaching and encouraged our charter school network staff to keep doing the hard work they do. I got so much great feedback from our employees after his talk. Many people reported that he was the best keynote speaker we had ever had in 24 years! People were crying after his presentation, and he graciously stayed to get photos with staff.
