Her journey into sleep science began in an unexpected place: the Chinese Space Agency. While growing up on its campus, her father worked with the country’s first space crew to explore how sleep changes in orbit. These early experiences filled her childhood dreams with stars—but as Dr. Wu delved into neuroscience, she discovered her true calling in a different kind of “final frontier”: the human brain, where the mysteries of sleep and dreaming offer boundless possibilities for healing and innovation.
