Act With Confidence
Eliza's keynotes don't just inspire a room.
Eliza takes the stage as a communication strategist, #1 bestselling author and keynote speaker trusted by Fortune 500 companies and C-suite leaders worldwide. Her keynotes hand every person in the room precise vocal and physical tools, the kind they can use in their very next high-stakes moment, not just inspiration that fades by the parking lot.
She Trained Actors. Now She Trains CEOs.
Eliza built these tools long before she ever brought them to the boardroom.
A Cornell Cook House Fellow, Eliza spent two decades running a pioneering acting training studio before bringing her propriety tools to the corporate stage. Her methods sit at the intersection of political science, law and the Sanford Meisner technique. She built these tools because she needed them herself, and that is what makes them work.
The Gap
Brilliant expertise that never leaves the room helps no one.
In every organization there is a risk Eliza calls THE GAP: the space between individual expertise and organizational contribution. Many people hold real expertise, but they struggle to collaborate, lead or deliver a powerful speech. What they know never makes it out into the world. The organization never benefits for the expertise it is paying for. THE GAP is expensive, and it is what Eliza's work closes. Her keynotes hand people concrete tools to close it immediately, tools they can use the moment the last question in Q&A is asked. Closing THE GAP does not just transform organizations. It transforms individuals as well, because no one rises on expertise that remains silently in their head.
A Woman Who Defied The Odds
Eliza's path to where she is now was not a straight line.
Eliza's empathy for people was born from being homeless as a child after she was kidnapped by her paranoid schizophrenic mother. Her passion for justice grew from working with at-risk children after she studied political science and law. Her fascination with communication and the human psyche was shaped by twenty years teaching actors in the studio she built from the ground up. And her unique ability to rebuild broken communication came from having to rebuild her own, after a texting driver hit her while she was riding her bike. Her inspiring story has been profiled in People Magazine and featured on The Daily Blast.
The Jedi Mind Trick, Explained
One client called the results a Jedi mind trick. Eliza calls it The VanCort Technique.
Out of her own story, Eliza built The VanCort Technique: named, teachable frameworks that decode behavior and change how people communicate under pressure. The Five Fundamentals of Vocal Power, silence, cadence, pitch, volume and emotional stamping, teach every word to land with authority. Cue Big / Cue Small teaches executives to command a room by reading and controlling the non-verbal cues we all send without knowing it.
Be Seen, Heard and Impossible to Ignore
There is nothing artificial about human intelligence.
In an era when AI is reshaping every industry, the ability to collaborate effectively, lead with confidence, communicate with authority and command a room has never mattered more. Without the understanding the mechanics of delivery, many rigorous, capable professionals in any field can still find themselves invisible in the rooms where decisions get made, and even those who don't often feel they could be contributing more, or rising higher. This keynote gives people exactly what technical expertise alone cannot: Eliza's Five Fundamentals of vocal communication, the physical choices behind Cue Big and Cue Small, and her complete framework for claiming space, precise. Eliza's immediately applicable tools to walk into any room, own it and drive the outcomes their work deserves.
For Organization Who Want More
A powerful, customizable keynote is just the beginning of what Eliza offers.
Eliza's keynotes leave audience members with the tools to communicate and the confidence to use those tools. After her keynotes, most organizations want more. Eliza delivers. She works with organizations in three ways: a customizable signature keynote that gives an entire room, from new hires to executives, a shared vocabulary for vocal authority and body language; small-group workshops and residencies, capped at fifteen participants, where every person gets real-time individualized coaching; and one-on-one executive coaching that builds the confidence, presence and strategic clarity a career demands at its biggest inflection points. A full multi-campus residency chains the first two together and adds a step of its own: a closing assessment that feeds what was learned back to HR and leadership, closing THE GAP for good.
The Highest-Rated Program They've Ever Run
Over 500 leaders, four countries, one program that broke the company's own record.
Eliza recently completed an 18-month, multi-campus leadership residency with an NDA-protected Fortune 5 technology company (NDA protected) which shattered it's record for impact and positive feedback. Separately, her clients include Microsoft, Lenovo, Cornell University, MIT, the State of Oregon, The Hong Kong Jockey Club and The Security Industry Association. She also co-created IGNITE, an immersive leadership masterclass, with award-winning brand strategist and former Deloitte partner Alma Derricks.
A Bestseller Nobody Saw Coming
No agency. No platform. Still a #1 bestseller.
Eliza is the #1 bestselling author of A Woman's Guide to Claiming Space (Berrett-Koehler), an Amazon Women & Business top seller. Her next book, MIND MANTRAS: 52 Psychological Resets for When Your Mind Turns on You, arrives in 2027, grounded in neuroplasticity research and field-tested by her work coaching Fortune 500 executives, speakers preparing for the United Nations and Emmy-nominated actors.
Seen Everywhere, From Primetime to the Red Carpet
Before she was coaching C-suites, she was already commanding cameras.
A Cornell Cook House Fellow with more than 250,000 followers across social platforms, Eliza has appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, PBS, FOX and Access Daily. She has been featured in People Magazine, Fast Company, Forbes and Success Magazine's Women of Influence issue, and was formerly an on-air contributor at NYC's PIX11. She is also a producer and actor. Her film Stationed at Home premiered internationally on the red carpet, she is currently developing her second film, and is currently developing a one-man show with four-time Grammy winner Brian Kennedy at The Public Theater, the New York institution behind Hamilton and A Chorus Line.
