Tim Mousseau Creating Safe Cultures Where People Thrive
Having endured sexual violence and extreme workplace sexual harassment at his first professional job, Tim Mousseau now combines powerful stories of perseverance with original research to help organizations create safer cultures where their people can thrive.
Tim's mission centers on the idea that everyone needs to feel safe— in their relationships, organizations, and communities.
People crave safety. They deserve it.
Tweaking concepts learned from a decade of leading primary prevention campaigns for communities ranging from 1,500 to 60,000, Tim shifts the narrative on traditionally compliance-based topics. Teaching the proven Feel Safe framework, Tim helps build cultures not only free from harm but organizations where people also feel a sense of belonging.
For the last nine years, Tim has spoken and consulted on safety and violence prevention worldwide. He has partnered with over 400 organizations, including Fortune 1000 companies, Congressional offices, championship athletic teams, and top universities. Through his curriculum design work, Tim authored award-winning primary prevention curricula deployed by colleges across the United States, reaching nearly 100,000 participants a year. As a researcher, Tim is currently studying how individuals set and maintain their safety boundaries in professional relationships. Tim received a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga and a Bachelor's in Communication from the University of New Mexico.
