Peter Buffett Emmy Award-winning Musician, Philanthropist and Author
The essay discusses the damaging cycle in the charity system. As wealth and inequality increase, philanthropy becomes the “it” vehicle to level the playing field. Peter and Jennifer Buffett recently wrote a piece together about a philanthropic paradox and how important it is to be putting love back into the world of philanthropy.
Peter and Jennifer Buffett wrote an article together for openDemocracy as a follow up to the New York Times op-ed.
Peter had a great op-ed published online in Yes! Magazine recently, touching on the need to recognize and reconcile America’s extractive and oppressive history as the seeds of a new revolution.
